Ecological Water Management

Technology of the future

In addition to saving water, ecological water management also means keeping water in place, reusing it, returning it to the natural water cycle, and minimizing environmental impact. This contributes to sustainability, the protection of the local ecosystem, and also brings economic benefits in the long term.

WHAT DOES ECOLOGICAL WATER MANAGEMENT MEAN?

Ecological water management in a family home means that water use and water treatment are organized in a sustainable manner, integrating them into the natural cycle, with the lowest possible environmental impact. The main elements of this are:

  • Rainwater collection and utilization : Rainwater can be collected from the roof of the house and used for irrigation, household purposes (e.g. washing, flushing toilets), or even car washing. A significant amount of good quality rainwater can be collected from the roof of an average Hungarian family house every year, which can cover most of the household's water needs.

  • Independent water supply : With a well-designed ecological system, you can even disconnect from the mains water and sewer network, making the household completely self-sufficient in terms of water.

  • Greywater purification and utilization: It is also possible to reuse greywater. Slightly polluted water from bathing and washing (greywater) can be reused, for example, for flushing toilets or watering the garden, thus reducing the use of fresh water.

  • Domestic wastewater treatment: We offer modern, environmentally friendly domestic wastewater treatment systems for those who do not have a public sewer. For example, we offer the ClearFox® nature domestic wastewater treatment system because this biofilm technology system ensures stable operation even in the event of under- and overloading. The wastewater is first cleaned in the pre-sedimentation tank, and then, with the help of the biofilm formed in the bioreactor, it is cleaned to such an extent that the cleaned water can even be released directly into nature. Our tanks are strong, durable and easy to install, and the system operates automatically, with low operating costs and minimal maintenance requirements.

  • Composting Toilet : A composting toilet is a waterless, environmentally friendly toilet that composts human waste and urine by mixing them with organic materials (e.g. wood chips, straw), thus producing humus. It does not require a water pipe or sewage system during its operation, so it can be installed anywhere and is operated almost odorlessly. The resulting compost can be used to fertilize ornamental plants, contributing to sustainable water and wastewater treatment.

Ecological water management therefore means not only saving water, but also keeping water in place, reusing it multiple times, returning it to the natural water cycle and minimizing environmental impact. This contributes to sustainability, the protection of the local ecosystem and also brings economic benefits in the long term .
